Middle Python Engineer (IRC159012)

GlobalLogic is inviting an experienced Middle Python Engineer to join our engineering team.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field
• 3+ years of experience as a Python Developer in a production environment
• Strong shell scripting and Python scripting experience
• Experience with version control systems (Perforce)
• Strong troubleshooting problem-solving skills
• Understanding Agile development methodologies e.g., continuous integration, code analysis, etc
• Practical experience with CI/CD concept
• Both an independent individual contributor and team player with good English communication skills
• Excellent communication skills

Responsibilities:

• Become an expert on your team’s technical stack(s), and gain knowledge of the business domains
• Plan, implement and deploy changes following the client`s established software
• Produce technical design, test, and launch planning documentation for complex projects and/or projects with complex dependencies
• Troubleshoot, debug and fix production issues as they arise
• Participate in teams’ scrum meetings, collaborate with engineers on the team, and contribute to design and code reviews
