Lead Test Automation Engineer (C#) (IRC109187)

GlobalLogic Ukraine is inviting a Lead Test Automation Engineer (C#) to join its Kharkiv office.

Our client is a big medical equipment manufacturer located in the United States. We have completed a lot of projects for them during the last 15 years and continue our strong relationships. We are creating software information systems providing management and reporting capabilities for customer equipment in the field. Currently, we are extending our team to be able to start new generation projects and looking for a passionate and motivated Lead Test Automation Engineer with 4-6 years of relevant experience. The right candidate must be a team player with strong communication skills and be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate should possess the right mix of test automation experience and test design skills.

Requirements:

• 4-6 years of commercial experience in software QA methodologies, tools, and processes

• Proven test design skills

• Practical experience in writing clean code

• Experience in the creation of various artifacts

• Hands-on experience with framework creation

• Proficiency with at least one OOP language and one scripting language (C# is preferred)

• Understanding of modern test automation patterns and standards

• Hands-on experience with different types of test automation

• Excellent communication skills

• Analytical mind and problem-solving aptitude

• Effective time management

• Fluent spoken and written English

Preferences:

• Appium, Unity, Specflow

Responsibilities:

• Drive automation strategy for the team

• Make technical decisions

• Represent the voice of automation QA in team-level and cross-team planning activities

• Ensure mutual expectations between QA automation and other functions (Product, Development, Infrastructure, etc.) are clear

• Balance workload among QA team members taking into account business needs and individual skills, interests, and availability

• Create a framework from scratch and define all necessary side tools 

• Perform code review

• Strictly follow QMS procedures and processes

• Provide team status on time

• Continuously improve testing on the project

• Participate in QA Initiatives, collaborate with other test engineers

• Drive the mentoring process of subordinates
