Trainee Software Engineer (IRC115282)

GlobalLogic Ukraine is inviting a Trainee Software Engineer to join its Lviv office.

The candidate will be responsible for the development, maintenance, and support of entertainment and media applications on the Roku platform.

Our customer is a group of media channels that consists of 9 entertainment TV channels. We are building multiplatform and multitenant applications that consist of smaller pieces that are hooked together via API to make more flexible applications.

Requirements:

• Strong knowledge of at least one of the following languages C/C++/C#/Java
• B.S. or higher in Software Engineering or similar area
• Good knowledge of networking
• At least intermediate English level
• Hardworking and self-motivated person with a strong desire to learn
• Possibility to work full-time

Responsibilities:

• Development, maintenance, and support of entertainment and media applications on the Roku platform.
• Implementing independent micro-apps (screens) within an app that are hooked together via API
• Build API driven app for a new product that has to be launched this year
• Integration with multiple analytics libraries like Comscore, mParticle, Yobora, Nielsen
