Signalling Engineer

Infopulse Ukraine is inviting talented professionals to join our project as a Signalling Engineer for our respectable client BICS, in our Kyiv office.

The selected specialist will face a chance to join BICS team on both national and international levels, to participate in high-quality training and get rich and acknowledged expertise.

Areas of Responsibility

• Signaling provisioning (operators implementation/termination according to design: establishment/termination M2PA/M3UA Sigtran, SCCP configuration, including VAS services integration, ANSI-ITU translation, signalling migration, numbering plan updates)
• Configuration on DRAs according to the guidelines (implementation customer's HSS/MME or DEA, establishing SCTP, routing flows, screening)
• Implementation of new SS7 relations by customer/carrier request, signalling mailbox treatment, providing support in all technical queries
• Providing technical assistance to a customer from the first step of the implementation and up to the commercial run
• Support in troubleshooting all signaling / Diameter cases (based on SCTP, M2PA/M3UA, MAP, SCCP, GTP, Diameter logs/traces)
• Visualization and updating of all signalling relations in DB
• Opening new agreements on Signaling Hub platform, monitoring and validating the migration process
• Other proactive tasks

Qualifications

• Relevant experience in a mobile service provider environment
• Strong customer focus
• Well-developed analytical and problem solving skills
• Ability to take initiative, being flexible and stress resistant
• Having a team spirit, as well as good collaboration skills with others
• Intermediate level of English
• Excellent communication skills, both writing and speaking
• Thorough knowledge of technology and products in the area of telecom
• Proper knowledge and full understanding of the SS7 protocol
• MTP-SCCP
• Proper knowledge and full understanding of the Diameter protocol
• Basic knowledge of IP routing (BGP) and IP connectivity is a nice advantage.
• SIGTRAN (M2PA-M3UA-SCTP stack)
• Global title analysis
