Local currency payments processing specialist (Фахівець відділу безготівкових розрахунків)

Job Purpose:

• Everyday processing of all types of LCY payment/transactions

Key Responsibilities:

• Performing sanction screening (corporate and local) for LCY payments, disposition performing for potential matches;
• Filing of LPMT related documents;
• Prepare and sign payment demands rejection, prepare letters concerning customer arrest;
• Processing of local currency payments (manual, received via CitiDirect or other electronic way) and banks transactions;
• Creating and sending files with LCY payments through different corporate/local applications, processing of all files received from SEP (as Operationist);
• Processing of customer related commissions and charges;
• Co-operation with different operations and compliance units on related activities;
• To be fully compliant with applicable Citibank requirements, Policies and Procedure as well as Local regulations.
• To prepare different reports concerning Unit's volumes/overdue commissions;
• To participate, when required, in testing of Unit's technical systems upgrades and enhancements;
• To receive embossed cards and PIN-envelopes and delivery them to the customers;
• To ensure execution of the internal control procedures and policies related to the unit activity;
• Work shifts;
• Other tasks required by the Employer.

Person Specification:

Knowledge/Experience:

• Minimum 1 year of work experience in a bank;
• Good knowledge of current legislation related to local payments;
• Good knowledge of accounting in banks.

Qualifications:

• Fluent oral and written English;
• Higher education in economics, finance, banking or accounting;
• Additional technical education will be a preference.

Skills:

• Strong computer skills;
• Advanced user of MS Excel;
• Ability to create and work with macros in MS Office will be a preference.
