Intern in Legal Department

Legal department of Citibank Ukraine consists of 3 experienced lawyers and 1 Country Legal Counsel supervising their work. Each lawyer is responsible for a specific area of responsibilities, such as account opening, banking products, corporate governance, etc. The intern will have a chance to work with all of the members of the legal team.

Program timeline and structure:

January, 2022 - December, 2022

• Prior work experience is not required.
• Full or part time engagement of 40, 30 or 20 hours per week is a requirement of the Program.
• Meal allowance.
• Monthly remuneration and medical insurance

Role description:

• Assistance with the review of agreements with suppliers of the bank;
• Preparation of simple documents (letters, responses to inquiries, etc) relating to legal matters;
• Assistance with convocation of general shareholders meetings, meetings of the Supervisory Board and the Management Board, production of Minutes, other documents;
• Scanning of documents, arranging delivery of outgoing mail;
• Processing of invoices of suppliers relating to legal department;
• Research of legal matters requested by internal clients.

Requirements:

• Being a 3-4-5 year student of a leading Ukrainian or foreign university with a major in Jurisprudence or International Law or similar.
• Pre-advanced or higher level of English; fluent Ukrainian;
• Good interpersonal communication skills;
• Willingness to ask the right questions and explore the answers.
