Finance Manager

We are looking for an experienced Finance Manager to lead operational management accounting in the business unit, as well as perform controlling function, provide recommendations for improvement and process optimization etc. You will be responsible for all day-to-day finance operations working closely with the Maltese accounting department and directly reporting to the CFO/CEO.

Critical thinking, positive and proactive approach are just the right fit to succeed within the role.

Responsibilities:

Monthly management of accounts and Profit and Loss, Balance Sheet and Cash Flows
Financial forecasting - P&L, CF
Analysis of separate cost and income flows, preparation of trend reports, scenarios etc.
Create forecast, budget models based on current and past financial results
Reviewing and processes of the company's financial documents and reports, ensuring accuracy and completeness.

Must-haves:

At least 2 years of experience in a similar position,
Highly developed analytical skills and attention to details;
Communication and problem-solving skills
Advanced computer skills, including proficiency in Excel
knowledge of accounting principles, procedures and creating financial statements
Level of English: preferably Upper-Intermediate
Knowledge and experience in automation of accounting software, including 1C, Xero
Previous experience with foreign jurisdictions
Communication and problem-solving skills
Open-minded, proactive person
Master's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field

Would be a plus:

International finance certifications ACCA, CAP/CIPA, DIPIFR etc
Game dev, online services business experience (digital advertising, social media, IT)/non-production industries working experience
Business analysis skills
Contracting and legal understanding from finance side
Experience with tech tools (Jira, etc)
Readiness for business trips ( rarely, yet possible)
