Required skills
- Experience Smart City projects in Public Transport area (Automated Fare Collection systems).
- Knowledge of principles and standards of enterprise technology systems, Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS), or fare collection systems.
- Expert level experience managing the delivery of large, complex systems projects through design, build, and implementation.
- Proven leadership. Clear communicator and have strong relationship building skills.
- Knowledge of advanced project management principles and practices for a range of alternative project delivery methods.
- Knowledge of systems engineering from both a business and technology perspective.
- Risk assessment and strategic planning skills.
- Negotiations skills & experience.
- At least Upper Intermediate English.
Responsibilities
- Lead the discovery, architectural design and resourcing activities of an Automated Fare Collection project (with a future possibility to lead development, integration, installation, commissioning and servicing as well).
- Plan and coordinate efforts to break down the project into functional areas. Recruit internal and external resources.
- Manage performance of assigned teams, consultants, and vendors. Take appropriate mitigating and corrective actions when necessary.
- Provide executive reports to senior management.
- Maintain the strategic focus in the face of changing timelines and requirements while continuing to drive the consensus necessary to deliver value.
- Analyze best practices in the AFC area and provide recommendations.
- Act as AFC & Smart City expert in the team, share knowledge and provide guidance to the team proactively or when requested.
