Financial Audit Team Lead

The consulting company PwC expands its presence in Ukraine by opening a Service Delivery Centre in Lviv in early 2018.

SDC will carry out a wide range of professional services tasks for PwC audit, tax and advisory projects across Central and Eastern Europe (CEE).

Job description

Person employed in this position will be responsible for managing Assurance team that will support projects across PwC Central and Eastern Europe (CEE). Team Leader will coach, review, supervise and support a team of junior and senior specialists to ensure the timely and accurate preparation of deliverables. Scope of processes includes areas like Financial Statements Roll Forward and Tie Out, Audit Confirmations, Account Reconciliations, Audit Sampling, Tests of Controls and Tests of Primary Documents, Disclosure Checklist - IFRS and local GAAP etc.

Team Leader will be responsible for setting objectives, developing and motivation of team members. Additionally Team Leader will engage in processes optimization and process documentation updates as well as supporting Manager in implementation/testing of new processes and other areas.

What we are looking for:

• minimum 2-3 years of Big 4 or Second Tier experience;

• relevant university degree, preferably in field of Economics (Accounting, Finance or similar);

• strong knowledge of accounting and auditing;

• ability to motivate, inspire and develop others;

• strong time management and organisational skills;

• strong analytical skills and attention to details;

• strong aptitude for numbers and figures,

• advanced MS Office and Google Suite skills;

• ability to work independently and complete assignments in a timely manner with highest quality standards;

• ability to successfully resolve complex problems and issues;

• excellent communication skills;

• upper intermediate written and spoken English.
