A Day in the Life
Execute tactical and education plans and programs to expand the utilization of Medtronic Diabetes therapies and grow Medtronic products market share within assigned segment to meet corporate objectives. In targeted accounts, build and grow awareness; create acceptance and drive adoption of innovative diabetes therapies by educating prescribing and referring physicians and nursing staff on clinical and economic evidence demonstrating improved patient and economic outcomes. In targeted accounts, drive adoption and brand loyalty through building consultative relationships with associated health care professionals.
MAIN JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
Facilitates region specific implementation of key development strategies & tactics.
Executes local awareness programs to improve specific target education.
Develops and technical support of new centers and customers.
Builds and maintains relationship with local KOLs
Identifies, evaluates and recommends local market growth opportunities for a local SBU, consistent with product line objectives. Supports market penetration improvement.
Evaluates program impact. Implements continuous improvement.
Communicates proactively to all levels of management.
Assures alignment with other local functional areas such as research, clinical, development, education, reimbursement and sales.
Ensures alignment of education and clinical activities with the country strategy.
Supports Academia SBU Trainer in identifying the proctors and KOLs to accelerate market growth.
Supports Clinical Management with linkages to local KOLs and Therapy Centers
Qualifications
Must haves
Min. 3 years of sales experience in sales
Proven track record of strategic planning experience
Experience with developing market access
Results driven
Business and strategic acumen
Analytical skills to understand local markets and customers' needs
Ability to coordinate and manage multiple projects
Ability to work independently
Excellent customer service skills, strong interpersonal and communication skills at all levels of the organization
Ability to work effectively in a matrix organization structure
Ability to build and maintain positive relationship with peers, colleagues and customers across diverse cultures
Fluent English, both written and spoken
Fluent in Russian and Ukrainian
Nice to haves
BA/BS in business, marketing, medicine, nursing, biology or other life science
Medical Device or Pharma industry experience
Established relationships with key opinion leaders in medical field
Travel
- Ability to travel up to 50% of the time
