Middle/Senior Java Developer

Intel 471 is looking for a Middle/Senior Java Developer for our office in Kyiv.

You will be developing high volume data engineering products, combining data from multiple sources into a single stream, having expertise in both web development and system development, building large scale projects from scratch and work in the cyber intelligence industry. Your position will involve development of high-throughput data processing and visualization software running on server platform.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

You will be responsible for building new services to fit into the Intel 471 product family, working on improving existing core technologies of Intel 471 data processing and visualization, writing and reviewing excellent code in Java, Scala and bringing value to customers by delivering award winning product to new heights.

We rely on you to be self-motivated, able to work independently in an agile environment, propose your own ideas to be incorporated into the development schedule and possess analytical and design skills.

Experience, Skills and Knowledge:

• What do you need to know? Just some Java. You also know Scala? Perfect match!
• ElasticSearch, MongoDB, MySQL, Cassandra ? it's good if you have experience with any of these.
• We write reactive applications so Vert.X/Akka/RxJava is handy but not mandatory.
• Experience with Play Framework is a plus
