UI artist

Frag Lab studio is a videogames development company based in Kiev and focused on next gen AAA games creation. Our team of industry veterans is now working on a new revolutionary IP and we are looking for an UI Artist who has passion for creating good quality assets icons as well as other UI elements.

Your role would be to work closely with our content and metagame teams on developing assets icons for UI screens and helping develop general UI style. You will be working directly with our art and content leads on developing some other 2D art elements in various areas – UI screens, HUD, game assets. Keeping in mind all of this, your background should include great artistic skills, deep understanding of graphic design, ability to render game assets for UI icons production. Your experience of working in game industry on similar goals would be a plus.

Requirements:

• Proven experience of creating high quality UI elements (game screens, icons, animations etc.)
• Deep knowledge of Flash and 3D software (3D studio Max, Maya or similar)
• Ability to read and write documentation in English
• Good communication and writing skills
• Passion for making top quality games
• A quick learner

Will be a plus:

• Traditional/digital painting skills
• Experience of working on first person shooters
• Knowledge of major game engine (CryEngine, Unreal, Unity or similar)
• Degree in graphic design/motion graphics

Goals:

• Work in cross-functional team on various game deliveries
• Create high quality UI icons for in-game assets
• Assist in game UI screens creation
• Complete all tasks in a timely manner and to a consistent high quality standard
