Teсh Lead R&D Engineer for Lohika Project

Purpose of the job:

We are looking for an experienced and professional engineer who likes dynamic project, complex challenging tasks which require research and development work, experienced in wide range of technologies and wants to grow in new areas. Our team works with various projects that requires a leader who's ready to step into unknowns, experiment and build creative solutions. 

Sample POC projects (for the same big customer): 

• Optimizing existing processes at customer side. Reducing manual efforts by automating pieces of the flow
• Integrating multiple reporting tools to bring more value for the data consumers
• Enhancing knowledge sharing within existing department by providing new tools for usable information storage and search
• Applying ML algorithms to optimize runtime for the time-consuming operations
• Data analysis and smart assistant for engineers based on historical trends

MAIN TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Lead of Research and Development unit is driving POC Projects initiation phase, which includes:
• Communication with stakeholders in order to clarify Problem statement and turn it into set of requirements and success criteria
• Technical analysis and creation of Architectural proposals, defining technology stack for each given POC project
• Resource planning: defining how many engineers are needed for the timebox of each POC, as well as required skillset for them
• Contributing into SOW/Project plan documents
• Team rump up and supervision

EDUCATION, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

MUST HAVE:

• 5+ years of professional software development experience
• Experience with 2-3 programming languages Java/Python/JavaScript/C++ etc
• Understanding of design and architecture patterns
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Upper-intermediate English
