AQA Team Lead for Lohika Energy Saving Project

Purpose of the job:

Our customer is a U.S. company which is a world leader in air conditioning systems, services, and solutions providing its services to the world's largest and most famous commercial, industrial and institutional buildings.

Purpose of existing software is to gather, analyze and visualize information about building performance, provide immediate diagnostics and responsive action capabilities, give recommendations about optimal performance, increasing energy efficiency, reducing costs.

Main tasks and responsibilities:

• Lead a team of AQA&QA engineers;
• Follow and improve processes to assure that we are reaching the quality standards;
• Collaborate with customers and other engineering teams;
• Design and improve automated testing strategies;
• Design, create and maintain automated tests;
• Maintain test-related documentation;
• Ensure compliance with established Information Security and Quality standards within a project;
• Ensure effective communication between all stakeholders which is related to the team's Areas of Responsibilities (AOR) and deliveries;
• Coordinate teamwork of all involved parties;
• Report to Engineering Manager/Senior Team Lead about area readiness/quality and raise red flags in crisis situations beyond his/her AOR;
• Responsible for resolving crisis situations within his/her AOR related to technical areas.

Education, skills and experience:

• Ability to lead complex projects and provide leadership as well as mentor QA team members;
• 5+ years in software development/testing including team managerial experience;
• Strong knowledge in Java;
• Deep knowledge of software testing related best practices;
• Good understanding of Agile principles, participation in Agile/Scrum projects;
• Automated web-testing and proficiency with Selenium or similar tools;
• Good knowledge of test automation frameworks such as Junit, Test NG;
• Understanding of CI/CD concepts;
• English level - Upper-Intermediate or higher.

Would be a plus:

• Experience in energy-saving projects/services;
• Knowledge of Jenkins, Maven, Gradle, Docker;
• Good understanding of HTTP protocol;
• Web Services
• Knowledge in SQL/ RDBMS;
• Experience with Linux/Unix preferred.
