Big Data DevOps engineer role

UKRSSIBBANK is looking for a Big Data DevOps engineer to join our IT team. It is an opportunity to build and support a Data Hub platform aimed to optimize infrastructure and enable challenging business use cases as well as to work with world leading technologies in a dynamic environment. Your responsibilities:

• Closely cooperate with project lead, Development teams and IT production teams
• Set up optimal CI/CD processes/tools 
• Install required updates
• Build and set up new development tools on a Data Hub Platform 
• Prepare testing environments for tests. 
• Cooperate with IT Production support teams to propose and develop steady, robust and observable IT infrastructure for Data Hub 
• Responsible/assist (depending on situation) for solving possible technical problems that may occur on Data Hub Platform, investigate the reasons of non-standard situations, propose the solutions (updates, fixes etc.)
• Maintain basic and standard in a company technical documentation, create documentation and how-to materials for development teams
• Provide an expert support to project lead on technical decisions
• Implement cybersecurity requirements in agreement with project lead and IT teams, ensure that systems are safe and secure against cybersecurity threats

What you will need for this position 

• 2+ years of strong experience working as one of following: a Big Data DevOps engineer (systems based on Hadoop) / DevOps engineer / DB administrator / ETL/ELT tools administrator 
• Experience of OS administering (Linux, Windows must have)
• Skills in script languages and SQL, good knowledge of relational DB technologies
• Experience using configuration management systems (Ansible), familiarity with monitoring technologies (Zabbix) will be an advantage
• Knowledge about security requirements and standards for corporate infrastructure
• Well understanding of principles of containerization and containers orchestration
• English intermediate level, well-written and spoken
• Analytical and decision making skills
