In-house Lawyer

Responsibilities:

• Conduct legal research and collect information
• Provide legal assistance and consult on various issues of law to KPMG staff, in particular, contracting, corporate, compliance, regulatory and labour issues
• Draft legal documents (e.g. constituent documents, resolutions)
• Draft, review and negotiate contracts (confidentiality agreements, contracts with clients, suppliers, etc.) to ensure compliance with applicable legislation and internal policies and guidance
• Participate in client meetings and conference calls, communicate with state authorities, banks, notaries etc.

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of experience in a position of Lawyer (experience as in-house lawyer preferred)
• Excellent knowledge of corporate, civil, commercial, labor law, currency regulations
• Fluent spoken and upper-intermediate written English
• Advanced user of Microsoft Office (Word, Power Point, Excel, Teams, OneDrive)
• Experienced in research of information (including state registers, public data bases, Verdictum etc.)
• University (institute) degree in Law (completed studies) from a renowned Ukrainian university
• Good organizational and time-management skills, including when working from home office
• Hard-working, able to prioritize workload and multi-task
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills 
• Team player
• Ability to seek out new ideas and practical solutions
• Ability to learn quickly 
• Good analytical skills
