Project Coordinator on Working with Agricultural Associations and Government

Qualifications:

Understanding how agricultural associations work in Ukraine (mandatory requirement)

Understanding how government bodies in agricultural sector work in Ukraine (mandatory requirement)

Knowledge of WTO basic policies

Fluent English (mandatory requirement), both verbal and writing  

Understanding of agricultural sector and network of contacts in Ukrainian agribusiness

Higher education degree in Agricultural Management & Economics, Marketing, Law or other relevant field;

Excellent communication skills

Positive, service oriented, customer friendly attitude;

Willingness and ability to work with the Ukrainian business and government representatives

Ability to write in English and read appropriate international analytical reports in agricultural sector

Willingness to communicate with government officials, farmers, agribusiness representatives and generate new business leads

Ability to work with databases and collect new contacts

Ability to develop professional promotion materials

Willingness to quickly develop new skills;

Excellent communication and organizational skills;

Ability to work independently; self discipline;

Knowledge of major software applications;

Experience in the areas related to agribusiness or its infrastructure (participation in the agricultural projects, field trips, communication with the agribusiness professionals, etc.) would be a significant plus;

Major responsibilities:

Project coordination focusing on work with the government bodies in agricultural sector and agricultural associations. Assist senior management with existing projects in agribusiness sector, periodically write analytical short reports/summaries in English. Promotion and marketing of new consulting products, generate new business contacts and clients in agricultural sector, management and organization of meetings; communication with existing and potential partners, conduct introductory calls and meetings, work with various software applications.
