Junior Finance Specialist (Invoicing and Reporting)

Newxel is an IT Staffing provider that helps to connect business with talented developers in Ukraine. Our mission is to help fast-growing organizations get professional engineers by building and launching offshore development teams and R&D centers in Ukraine.

Currently we are looking for a junior Finance Specialist to assist our Finance team with their invoicing and reporting processes.

Responsibilities:

• Invoicing:

• to accumulate all expenses and charges related to the Clients from different sources (Jira, excel tables);

• to communicate with the responsible person of respective projects;

• to prepare the Invoice and respective detailed breakdowns for each Client;

• to send the Invoice and details to the Client;

• to make respective manual journal entries into accounting systems. 

• VAT and VIES reporting:

• to provide Accountant with the all invoices issued/received by the Company on monthly basis - VIES, VAT reports;

• to communicate with Accountant about all uncleared differences, accruals etc.

• Ad-hoc tasks from the top management of the Company.

Requirements:

• Proven work experience as a Financial Specialist, Financial Analyst or relevant role for 1 year;

• Understanding of financial and accounting principles;

• Familiarity with accounting and finance software;

• Strong analytical skills with an attention to detail;

• BS degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or related field;

• Strong desire to obtain new skills and knowledge;

• English a plus.
