Internship at Yalta European Strategy

Yalta European Strategy (YES) is looking for an intern to assist in the organization of YES events. The intern will assist in the organization of events to be held in 2022, including the YES Annual Meeting and other side projects. 

 We offer:

• an opportunity to gain experience in international environment assisting in the organization of the above mentioned events;
• an opportunity to familiarize oneself with Ukrainian politics and key stakeholders in the country and wider region;
• letter of recommendation upon successful completion of the internship

 Internship tasks:

• administrative support of events (working with documents, invitations, databases of invitees);
• communication with participants and speakers (e-mail communication and follow-up calls);
• contributing to the concepts of future events, writing reviews, drafting schedules and briefings for upcoming events;
• other tasks upon request of the management team

 Requirements:

• fluency in English is essential; command of Ukrainian/Russian heavily desirable;
• excellent written and oral communication skills;
• ability to work in a team, and meet tight deadlines;
• experience in organizing large public events, project management skills;
• proficiency with PC, excellent command of MS Excel & Word (knowledge of the online platform Airtable would be an advantage)

 Terms and conditions:

• full time responsibilities
• working remotely until YES Annual Meeting in September, at which point relocation to Kyiv will be necessary
• must be available to work throughout July-September 2022
