Junior accountant

About Us

We are looking for a Junior Accountant to join our team based in our offices in Lviv. The ideal candidate will have a head for numbers, experience with MS Excel and strong analytical thinking. The role will need to demonstrate the ability to work proactively and independently in a fast-paced office environment.

As our Junior accountant, you will be checking invoices, postings, and documents for correct entry, mathematical accuracy, and proper codes. Organize, secure, and maintain all files, records, in accordance with policies and procedures. Maintain accurate electronic spreadsheets for accounting data. Prepare, review, reconcile, and issue bills, invoices, according to company procedures.

Follow all company policies and procedures; ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional; maintain confidentiality of proprietary information; Speak with others using clear and professional language; prepare and review written documents accurately and completely; answer telephones and emails using appropriate etiquette. Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others; support team to reach common goals; listen and respond appropriately to the concerns of other employees. Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors.

• Ability to work independently and complete assignments in timely manner with highest quality standards, strong organizational and time management skills
• Attention to detail resulting in consistently reliable, accurate and thorough work
• Ability to prioritize, troubleshoot and work in a customer-service oriented environment

Profile/Qualification standards:

Education:

• Relevant university degree, preferably in the field of Economics (Accounting, Finance or similar)
• Acceptable English language level: B1, B2, C1, C2
• Computer literacy with advanced knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel
• 1C Software familiarisation will be considered as a plus

Experience:

Up to 3 years of experience in the Accounting Area.
