Aspose.GIS Middle/Senior C# Developer (remote)

We are looking for a full-time remote Middle/Senior C# Developer to work on our geoprocessing class library.

Our mission is to develop a library that allows to create, read, convert and process GIS data and render maps which is completely written in managed code and portable across different platforms and frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Add new features to the class library and improve existing features related to work with various GIS data formats;
• Search or invent solutions for implementation of different geoprocessing algorithms;
• Maintain and optimize project architecture;
• Test quality and performance;
• Review and check code added by other developers.

Requirements

• Ability to write high-quality code with minimum defects;
• Deep knowledge of C# and .NET platforms;
• Ability to document your work and present results;
• Ability to work offline with zero supervision and effectively plan your working time to produce results on schedule;
• English is middle or upper;
• Legal entity (private entrepreneur) for receiving payments;

Desired skills

• Experience in GIS development and geoprocessing algorithms;
• Experience in .NET Core, Xamarin or UWP;
• Understanding the principles of developing cross-platform applications;
• Knowledge of Java.
• Ability to read and understand code written in C/C++ and write small test tools;
