QA / Business Analyst Intern

Vesedia is an innovative technology startup based in Miami, Florida with our own product-development team in Ukraine (Vinnytsia, Kyiv, Kharkiv, Lviv). We specialize in Web 3.0 / GeoLocation-Intelligence / Location-Sharing mobile apps.

Currently, we are looking to add a Quality Assurance / Business Analyst Intern to our team. Students are welcome to apply! An ideal candidate would have 1-2 years of experience in QA / BA and be currently enrolled in a Computer Science program/degree. Should have stellar analytical skills, strong desire to learn on the job, and an ambition to implement a vision and a roadmap for the project - achieving measurable goals in a fast-paced environment.

This is a part-time/flexible hours/remote job that would require approximately 16-20 hours a week (pay is proportional to hours worked from a full time-base). We offer a long-term relationship, our process includes daily SCRUM calls, weekly Sprint planning/review and additional chats and video calls with live communication via GSuite (Google Meet/Hangouts/Chat) and project tracking tools (JIRA, Confluence). 

Compensation:

• Full-time base is $300-$500 (depending on your skills and experience)

Responsibilities:

• Perform daily QA testing of software updates - report results in JIRA and on SCRUM Calls

• Perform weekly pre-release testing and approve new releases

• Run daily SCRUM calls and weekly sprint planning/sprint reviews

• Attend calls with US-based customer and leadership - note feedback and requests for new development along with priorities and deadlines.

• Disseminate priorities, deadlines, tasking and customer feedback to the team members

• Create, maintain and update technical documentation

• Write detailed description of tasking, test-cases, UX workflow and use-cases

• Provide sketches of wireframes, and workflow diagrams  / use-case diagrams to the customers and the development team

• Ensure that the team complies with the guidelines, and releases updates on schedule

• Work with Graphical Designer(s) on UI/UX refreshes and new features (create statements of work / description of functional requirements, attend planning and review calls, verify that new designs comply with project requirements, disseminate new designs to the development team and project stakeholders).

Requirements:

• Solid upper-intermediate English

• 1-2 years experience in Software Development / Quality Assurance / Business Analytics

• Knowledge of QA Process - different testing methods, techniques, and types;

• Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodology

• Analytical and problem-solving skills;

• Understanding of software development processes, approaches, infrastructure, and tools

• Familiarity with test automation technologies and prior experience in testing mobile applications will be a plus.
