Graphic Designer (Marketing, PR)

WebIdeas Partners — Kyiv, Ukraine is a Los Angeles, California based Internet Venture, Investment & Management company focused on e-commerce for both pure internet activity (data, date sites, information, etc.) and online product sales. The company’s operations office is based in Kyiv, Ukraine

Graphic Design & Marketing / PR position will work for WebIdeas Partners to provide support to the Graphic Design Department as well as Marketing and Public Relations for the project companies WebIdeas Partners is building. The position will handle all direct assignments of Graphic Design, Marketing & PR (because these two sections always connect) and work with different other departments to ensure all Graphic work, as well as Marketing and PR, are done timely.

We’re looking for a Person who can take direct ideas from written or spoken and convert them seamlessly into images, layouts, and other designs. The successful candidate should have an intimate understanding of how marketing campaigns work, especially in the eCommerce sector.

Main Responsibilities

• Create visual aspects of marketing materials, websites, and other media, including infographics
• Put together disparate elements of a design created by another professional, such as the icons, photographs, and other components necessary for a website design
• Work with a wide range of media, and use graphic design software
• Think creatively and develop new design concepts, graphics, and layouts
• Prepare rough drafts, and present your ideas
• Work as part of a team with copywriters, designers, stylists, executives etc.

Requirements:

• High education in Marketing, Advertising, Management Fine Art Design, Marketing or related discipline;
• Excellent knowledge and experience with Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign, web design and multimedia presentation;
• Basic knowledge of CSS3, HTML5 and JavaScript will be a bonus
• Knowledge and understanding of current trends in the design;
• Understanding of the basic principles of composition of color and typography;
• The ability to quickly generate new ideas for promotional materials, and quickly implement them;
• Fluent Written and Spoken English;
• Excellent creative skills;
• Excellent communication skills;
• Extraordinary Cognitive Skills (this is a key requirement).

Pay:

Payment during 30 days probation period of $ 750-1100. After 30 days probation, pay is raised when reviewed based on qualifications, experience, and quality of work.
