Head of packing department / Logist

 Our client, a well-known textile production company, is ready to welcome  an experienced, well organized professional to take over  the position of Head of packing department / Logist

The role of the Head of packing department / Logist is to ensuring an efficient process of product packaging and organization of logistics and delivery of products to the final buyer outside Ukraine.

Main responsibilities:

• Organize finished goods logistics abroad, coordinate deliveries from Europe directly to the client.
• Ensure all products are delivered to customers on time according to schedule and in proper quality.
• Provide correct and timely documentation.
• Monitoring production work flows.
• Perform export reports (packing lists, invoices), internal reports (efficiency of department, different kinds of statistics).  
• Purchase packaging materials and accessories, compare costing of different vendors.
• Improve processes, launch the Lean manufacturing culture in a respective area to increase productivity and efficiency.

Main requirements:

• Experience in production company in the areas of logistics / warehouse / production unit. Experience in the textile environment will be an advantage.
• Experience in managing and organizing employees from 20 people
• Good command of both spoken and written English.
• Proficient in computer operations (MS Word, Excel, Outlook, ERP system).
