Base Facilities Officer (Logistics Specialist)

Base Facilities Officer

Main duties:

• Check and ensure the maintenance of fund's rented premises and facilities, as well as the general water supply, electrical, walls, ceilings and security conditions. In this sense, make inspection visits to assess the rehabilitation needs of rented facilities.
• Ensure that upkeep & maintenance of fleet of cars through contracted service providers.
• Facilitate the planning of movements for personnel within the Raion for medical & non-medical activities.
• Fill in the way bills and check the correspondence to fuel delivery notes from the supplier.
• Ensures that all policies & procedures for transport are followed as per MSF standards.
• Prepare monthly reports like, fuel log, service log. Perform maintenance of logistics equipment for cold chain, WATSAN, energy, IT and radio/tele communications.
• Carry out quarterly review of inventory of MSF assets. Maintain stock for office run and consumables for apartments.
• Checks the quality of the work carried out on all project's equipment (office, apartments, hospital, vehicles).
• Prepare orders for his sector activity, carry out local purchase, do the follow-up with suppliers, check their proper reception and state.
• Facilitate the recruitment, selection, training & on-boarding of MSF staff under his/her supervision.
• Participates in trainings at the request of the line manager.
• Responsible safety arrangements (performing the instruction sessions; making the schemes, signs, providing the security means, conducting instruction sessions for supervised staff).
• Draft & finalize all contracts related to construction, rehabilitation, maintenance / repair of equipment & any other contracts related to the logistics sector activities.
• Process payment requests for log sector activities & ensure timely follow up of the same after submission with finance department. Facilitate the Logistics manager with timely information for monthly & quarterly reports.
• Driving in absence of a driver or head driver in the project if the situation demands.
• Conducting risk & logistics assessments for new ambulatory locations.

Education:

• Degree or Diploma holder
• Secondary school (minimum)

Experience:

· Essential 5 years minimum experience in related areas of job description.

Languages:

· Fluent Russian, Ukrainian and English.

Location: 64 Berdychivska St., Huiva, Zhytomyr region.

Type of agreement: Civil law agreement - 3 months, extendable with Labor Agreement.

Monthly gross salary (before taxation): 20523 UAH.
