3GPP Engineer

We are looking for experienced Senior developers with strong telecom 3GPP background to build a small team to work on open source O-RAN and MAGMA EPC.

We build Private LTE networks using commodity hardware, open-source software and CBRS shared spectrum. The company is looking for experienced DevOps/Network engineers to participate in the development and operation of an open-source distributed packet core project called Magma, working in close collaboration with outside contributors from organizations like Facebook Connectivity, Eurocom, AmDocs, Rakuten and others. 

Responsibilities:

• Deployment and Operations of containerization environments: K8s, Dqocker 
  
• Development of Helm Charts and automation scripts for automated deployment of various microservices within Magma project (Access Gateway, Federation Gateway, Orchestrator, etc.) to a cloud-native, Kubernetes based infrastructure substrate
• Be ready to be available for on-call to fix the complex issues

General Requirements:

• 1+ years experience with Kubernetes (K8s), Docker
  
• Advanced knowledge in LAN/WAN networks (know the main protocols internals in detail) - 5-6 year experience with networking
• 2+ years experience in automation scripts development (Bash, Ansible, Puppet, helm or so)
• Knowledge of Linux OS architecture
• 3GPP / Networking Requirements:
• Good understanding of 3GPP 5G SA architecture spec, related components, and interfaces
  
• Hands-on experience with 3GPP stack protocols: HSS, AAA-Swx, Diameter, PCRF/PCEF, OCS, GGSN, Gx, Gy
• Wi-Fi AP, WAC, AGW, Radius Authentication, Authentication, EAP-AKA, EAP-SIM
