Middle Site Reliability Engineer

Wirex Limited has an opening exactly for you! We are looking for an experienced Middle Site Reliability Engineer! to join a team that is working on a new extremely innovative product that is changing the world of finance!

What you'll be doing:

• Be proactive and work closely with the engineering teams to enhance our practices and improve our process
• Monitoring and update the incident processing
• Monitoring the current status of the system
• Monitoring of the suspect transactions
• Filling and support of the Knowledge Base, Production playbook
• Monitor tickets filling rules
• Analyzing logs
• Control of the correct process of delivery applications, verify that the delivery process is followed by requests
• Development of the troubleshooting tools
  

Requirements:

• Experience in analyzing and troubleshooting systems
• Basic experience in the monitoring tools such as Nagios, Sensu, Zabbix, graphite, Prometheus, grafana, ELK
• Basic experience one of the programming and/or scripting languages (Python, Perl, Java, Bash, Ruby, C#, NodeJS)
• Understanding in analyzing the complex applications, database, network, and OS issues across a distributed large scale customer-facing systems
• Basic experience automation tools such as Puppet, Chef, Ansible, or Salt
• Understanding of network theory, such as different protocols (TCP/IP, UDP, ICMP, etc)
• Good reading/written English
• BA/BS degree in Computer Science or related technical field, or equivalent practical experience
