Vacancy: Senior Financial Analyst

Location: Kyiv, Ukraine

Responsibilities Include

• Evaluate investment opportunities, building solid financial models with scenario and sensitivity analysis
• Support new project review and approvals by providing historical data and insights into relevant benchmarks
• Develop simplified capital budgeting modeling templates tailored to business specifics of the company's business units to be used by business stakeholders
• Interview internal stakeholders to understand business logic underlying proposed investment projects translating it into quantitative inputs to the financial model
• Develop reporting dashboards in Power BI to summarize results of the analysis
• Evaluate effectiveness of completed business initiatives, deriving insights for future operations
• Use financial analysis and business knowledge to identify financial issues and opportunities to optimize results and to drive management decisions
• Prepare ad hoc financial analyses for senior management
• Build and maintain effective business partnerships within and across organizations

Qualifications

• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel including data models and Power Query
• Ability to quickly grasp underlying economics of a variety of business segments
• Familiarity with forecasting, capital budgeting, and variance analysis
• CFA Level 1 or above as an advantage
• Solid IFRS understanding
