Release Manager, HERE

General Overview:

In cooperation with the leading global provider of maps, traffic and places data enabling navigation, location-based services and mobile advertising around the world, Intellias is looking for skilled Release Manager to proceed delivery of our products on the high quality standard. You will be responsible for the top quality release of our solutions to Automotive Customers.

Responsibilities:

• Manage all activities related to delivering;
• Take part in creation of release plans;
• Define and follow release process including related best practices;
• Communicate release related needs to engineering teams;
• Automate release process;
• Monitor and report code quality KPIs;
• Monitor and report release quality metrics in conjunction with Quality Assurance Team;
• Define strategy for generating, storing and maintaining deliverables and artifacts;
• Contribute to Continuous Integration system for development related activities;
• Contribute to Continuous Delivery system for release related activities;
• Manage, automate and optimize build systems in conjunction with CI and DevOps Teams for better efficiency;
• Coordinate all Release Managers from Programs.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science or an equivalent qualification;
• Experience of working on a Release Engineer or DevOps position for 2+ years;
• Production experience of working with CI (Jenkins);
• Experience with version control systems (Git);
• Experience working with code review tools (Gerrit);
• Experience working with static code analysis tools;
• Experience in coding, testing, and scripting in Python and Bash;
• Good experience with Linux administration;
• Good understanding of software development methodologies and best practices;
• Experience in agile software development lifecycle;
• Intermediate+ English level, both written and verbal is a must;
• Well-developed communication skills;
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure with tight deadlines and demanding quality objectives.

The ideal candidate would also have:

• Experience in location-based services;
• Experience in Automotive Software industry and especially for Automotive industry software development life cycle standards;
• Experience of working with Docker.
