Visual Designer, Graphic Designer (20-hour work week)

Smart Ink is an e-commerce cartridge brand that produces and sells cartridges through Amazon and the website (in the USA, Canada, Europe, the UK, and Japan).

Due to the new product launches and further focus on brand development, we’re looking for a Visual Designer (Graphic Designer) for half-time employment with a full-time perspective. 

Your future team

You will join the awesome team of 25-ish people, work in creative tandem with the senior designer, and collaborate closely with the content manager, art director, and brand manager.

In this role, you’ll:

1. Work on the brand visual image on the systematic and comprehensive level.
2. Improve design quality and visual brand identity.
3. Design consistent product page content (slides, enhanced brand content, video covers).
4. Create marketing materials (for social media, banner ads, email, Amazon, and website).
5. Scale design on local languages (from English to German, French, Spanish, Italian, Polish, Swedish, and Japanese).
6. Participate in product launches (prepare print materials such as labels, boxes, and guides; retouch main images, prepare product page content).
7. Collaborate with the senior designer and marketing team to align the goals and objectives of design materials.

Our perfect candidate:

1. Have 1+ years of experience in graphic/visual design.
2. Ready to dive into visual brand concepts and make your impact on brand development.
3. Confident user of Photoshop and Illustrator.
4. Know graphic design & user experience principles.
5. Proactive team player (you can give appropriate feedback, take it, sell your design solutions, etc.).
6. Healthy perfectionist.
7. Want to solve business and customer problems.
8. Experience with product retouching will be a plus.
