Technical and Procurement Coordinator

Nordic-Hamburg Ship Management is a full suite ship management company with a global footprint, having offices in Hamburg, Hong Kong and Odessa. Due to an ongoing fleet expansion and in order to strengthen our Procurement team in Odessa we are looking to hire a highly motivated Technical and procurement coordinator to join our team.

 The Technical and Procurement Coordinator will arrange for the supply of spare parts, general ship stores and equipment, including contract arrangements and annual services for the fleet.

Responsibilities

• General Assistance to Superintendents 

• Supplies – the processing of supply orders from the fleet, using the available electronic tools provided, in the most efficient and cost-effective manner• 

• Requesting quotations – after approval received from the Superintendent to request quotations from the market. To prepare and analyse quotations and provide the Superintendent with the offers for his review

• Issuing Purchase Orders – upon review and approval of the Superintendent to proceed with the purchase of goods, to issue the Purchase Orders

• Deliveries - coordinating and monitoring orders and deliveries with suppliers, forwarders, port agents and vessels and follow up on schedule changes

• Following the developments of new products and services within the technical field and keeping the Technical Superintendent updated on such developments

• Assist in preparation of technical budgets and follow-up on budget compliance• Checking and filing of monthly mail and reports from the vessels

• Issuing Service Orders – upon review and approval of the Superintendent to proceed with the purchase of goods, to issue the Service Orders

• Requesting quotations for services and repairs – after approval received from the Superintendent to request quotations from the market. To prepare and analyse quotations and provide the Superintendent with the offers for his review

• Service related deliveries - coordinating and monitoring orders and deliveries with suppliers, forwarders, port agents and vessels. Follow up on schedule changes
