Certification manager

ASBIS is one of the leading distributors of Information and Communications Technology products and solutions in EMEA Emerging Markets. We are seeking a motivated individual for a full-time:

Certification manager

Main tasks:

• determining the list of required certificates for any products in the portfolio;
• determination of the necessary product labeling;
• search of information sources. Search for consultants and certification experts
• processing of incoming requests and applications for confirmation of product conformity
• registration of declarations
• interaction with certification bodies in the EU, CIS and China and testing laboratories. Search      for new service providers
• optimization of certification costs
• maintaining a database of certificates. Maintaining a directory
• consultation of company employees on all issues in the field of product certification
• reporting

Requirements:

• knowledge of product marking & labeling requirements ( Experience in EAC Certification (ТР 020, 037, 004 etc.) and MEA (Africa and Middle East) Certification, Gulf Mark Certification (SABER, G-mark, CITRA etc.) will be bonus.);
• knowledge of legislation and legal norms in the field of certification of products for release into circulation on the territory of Ukraine / CU / EC;
• general knowledge of customs legislation, the procedure for declaring compliance with CU regulations;
• experience in the supply of electronics from China;
• knowledge of certification procedures and customs clearance of products;
• similar work experience from 1 year;
• intermediate/ upper intermediate in English;
• experience of interaction with government bodies;
• result orientation.
