Tasks and Responsibilities
The National Medical Officer will be responsible for ensuring adequacy of health care for OSCE Mission members and making determinations as to the need for medical evacuations. The incumbent will actively participate in negotiations with suitable health care providers; will liaise with the OSCE Health Insurance Provider, as needed, to resolve administrative issues; will treat minor illnesses and refer employees to qualified local or foreign providers for more complex care; and provide health information and recommendation to all Mission Members. More specifically the incumbent is responsible for:
Monthly remuneration, subject to social security deductions is 2936.00 Euro/month. Social benefits will include participation in the Cigna health insurance scheme and the OSCE Provident Fund. Appointments are normally made at step 1 of the applicable OSCE salary scale.
