Senior Associate/Associate* in Corporate/Commercial law (fluent English)

*Exact position will depend upon the degree of independency in carrying out legal projects

We are looking for an experienced lawyer to join our friendly corporate/general commercial team. As a Ukrainian office of an international law firm, we assist our clients, in particular, in setting up businesses in Ukraine especially from corporate and contractual standpoint. Thus, we would be delighted to find a person who can understand the needs of foreign clients and at the same time knows the local law and practice. Our task is to make it easier for foreign companies to do business in Ukraine.

Responsibilities:

• managing complex legal projects in corporate and general commercial fields
• drafting and reviewing various documents (agreements, corporate resolutions, minutes etc.)
• carrying out researches and preparing consultations
• representing clients before state authorities, notaries, banks etc.
• day-to-day written and oral communication with mostly foreign clients on various legal issues
• cooperation with lawyers from other offices of the firm in other jurisdictions on joint projects

We expect:

• work experience of at least 3 years in a reputable law firm
• excellent knowledge of corporate, civil law
• Master's / Specialist's degree from a reputable Ukrainian university
• excellent knowledge of English (both written and oral)
• ability to handle legal projects independently
• additional experience in other legal areas would be an advantage
• excellent communication skills, independent approach, reliability, flexibility, high commitment, self-motivation, team player
• computer literacy
