Job description for Sound

Who we are looking for?

Creative and organized sound design professional, who previously worked with foreign production teams.

Main requirements would be:

• understanding the process of music composing and sfx creation
• experience in creation music for animation would be a plus
• advanced level of English, knowledge of music & sound terms
• experience of working in international team or project

Main responsibilities are:

• get verbal briefing from Series Director regarding the upcoming episode, by conference call
• compose briefing for each episode following Director's vision
• works with the local sound studio and music composer, provide all materials to them and make sure that all the works are done strictly according to the brief
• share and discuss the results with Director and handle the revisions if needed
• organize and schedule complex recordings sessions in Kyiv (e.g. the one we experienced with elephant's trumpeting). Request the brief from Director/Creative Producer, supervise the casting, attend the record session in person and handle all the results for Dir/CP approval
• supervise audio mix sessions and make sure that all the requirements from Dir/CP are met.
• meet the general production schedule dead-lines
• report to production coordinator
