Translator / Interpreter (Russian/English)

CFI Group is a leading engineering company working in the sphere of chemicals and fertilizer project realization.

CFIh has been awarded a new project for designing a fertilizer complex in Russia.

We have 2 (two) open vacancies for Translator / Interpreter.

The first 2-3 months would be from home/offices. After this period, frequent trips to India (Kolkata) would be mandatory. Some trips to Russia would be required from time to time. All costs for trips will be born by the company, including VISA.

The hiring company would be CFIh (Singapore). Selected candidates would have to take care about their tax liability in their home country.

Your mission:

• Translate documents from English to Russian and from Russian to English,
• Responsible for translation a variety of communications including technical, training documents, marketing literature, legal documents,
• Consulting with experts and engineers regarding specific definitions and technical terminology to improve the quality of translation,
• Receive text or content in a variety of formats in English or Russian and translate documentation in a clear and concise style to Russian or English using defined processes and tools to ensure accuracy and consistency of work,
• Ensure quality, accuracy, consistency and timeliness of translations,
• Participation as interpreter in meetings, conferences/exhibitions, accompaniment of delegations and negotiations.
  

Your profile:

• Fluent in English,
  
• 2 year's experience as a translator/interpreter would be a must,
• Translator's degree will be appreciated, but is not a must,
• Strong knowledge in technical English is a must,
•  Proficient in MS Office package (Word, Excel and Powerpoint) is a must,
• Basic knowledge in AutoCAD would be appreciated,
• Experience in chemicals is a plus,
• Good communication skills, written and verbal, in English and full competence in Russian,
• Ability to absorb knowledge easily over a short period of time,
• Attention to detail and ability to multitasks,
• Ability to work under pressure and with aggressive deadlines,
• Ability and availability to travel is mandatory (India, Tunisia, Russia and Ukraine).
