Role Purpose:
Responsible for representation of Oncology portfolio across the country and accountable for
managing the associated revenues and OPEX. Commercial Strategy Manager ensures
execution/roll-out of the customer strategies and activities across the country developed by
Global commercial teams and any customized tactical initiatives developed locally.
Job Responsibilities:
Steers the development and/or implementation of best in class customer strategies that
meet the business needs
Responsible for brand/portfolio growth and associated revenues by managing risks,
identifying opportunities and making timely decisions that maximize the Oncology
business potential
Ensures timely updates to asset/market assumptions and maintains vigilance for any
changing / marketplace dynamics.
Ensures seamless integration of regional strategy into country business, acting as key
liaison between country and regional commercial teams
Shares country needs and insights with regional team as a key input into regionally
developed strategies and activities.
Accountable for the development and execution of the brand(s) area operational plan,
including the delivery of a robust country forecast, based on clearly defined assumptions
for the brand area
Accountable for the planning, spending and controlling local budget as agreed for areas
of responsibility
Allocates OPEX based on business potential and makes intelligent decisions using the
best available ROI models
Develops customer focused strategies/initiatives for respective disease area type(s).
Seeks and develops customer and market insights through direct customer contact at
1:1's, meetings and congresses
Provides appropriate level of support to market access activities, as defined by Oncology
Country Lead
Skills, Knowledge, Qualifications & Experience:
At least 2 years of marketing experience (preferably in Oncology)
Successful track record in Marketing, Customer and Competitor Insights management
and Marketing Execution
Data analysis, interpretation and communication skills
Exceptional prioritization, collaboration and negotiation skills
Exceptional Presentation Skills
Willingness to travel (up to 25% of the time), having a flexible work schedule
Computer Skills (Excel, PowerPoint)
English proficiency
