Our client, one of the world leaders in the manufacture of electronics and home appliances, opens a competition for a vacancy of Junior Accountant.

 

 

R&Rs:

  • Preparation and drafting of the Declaration on VAT (monthly) - test and analysis of transactions and documents related to the formation of tax liabilities and VAT credit;
  • Calculating and posting VAT adjustments (ND VAT, advance VAT)
  • Independently and fully maintains records of fixed assets as provided by the Company policies, in accordance with national and international regulations (standards), and other regulations concerning financial and tax accounting with the peculiarities of the Company and data processing technologies;
  • Maintains evidence collection for general office expenses (Admin, Selling, Other operating expenses)
  • Preparing acts for fuel usage, consumables write offs in align with local legislation
  • Verification of primary documents for marketing expense
  • Providing complete and accurate reflection of the information contained in received primary documents on financial and tax records;
  • Prepares data for financial and tax reporting, provides drafting of its parts, and other forms of periodic reporting, based on data of financial and tax accounting. Conducts analysis of financial and tax accounting and reporting, including consolidated reporting on the reasons for the growth of receivables and payables, develops and implements actions to collect receivables and payment of payables, organizes and conducts work on its writing off in accordance with the law;
  • Provision calculation for general office expense (rent, communication, etc.)
  • AP and AR balance verification, preventing overdue prepayments
  • Consulting employees about tax and accounting questions regarding of VAT
  • Organization and participation in the stock-taking of assets and liabilities, preparation of materials related to the shortage and damages reimbursement under shortage, theft and damage to the Company's assets;
  • Verification of documents which are the basis for reflection in the financial and tax accounting transactions; storing them for a specified period of storage, processing and transfer to the archives;
  • Conduct verification / comparison tax accounting data between the two accounting systems - GERP and 1C for FA counting.
  • Regularly research and study new legislative and methodical documents on the organization and conducting of accounting and taxation related to responsible area, and makes proposals for their implementation in the Company;
  • Performs individual official orders of direct supervisors.

 

Requirements to the candidates:

 

Academic and professional qualifications:

  • University Degree in Economics or Finances

Experience:

  • 1+ years of experience in accounting or taxation

Languages:

  • Ukrainian, English (level intermediate + )

Skills & Competencies:

  • Tax and financial legislation knowledge;
  • Aptitude for numbers and quantitative skills
  • Accuracy and attention to detail
  • Ability to work in a multicultural diverse environment, in deadline-driven environment
  • Ability to handle confidential information in a sensitive and tactful manner.
  • Good verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook) along with 1C and MEDOC accounting software. ERP, SAP, ORACLE knowledge will be a preference
  • Ability to work as a member of a team
