Middle/Senior QA Engineer

Our company is looking for a Middle/Senior QA Engineer to join a global industrial project. You will work with one of the largest B2B data sets in the world using the latest cutting edge technologies.

 About the role

As a QA Engineer you will work as a part of the R&D department having an opportunity to test features of all cutting-edge technologies, including ML, AI, IoT projects, working with world-class level experts. 

Responsibilities: 

• Functional testing; 

• Smoke testing; 

• Regression testing; 

• Requirement analysis and clarification; 

• Defect tracking and verification.

Required Skills and Experience:

• 2+ years of experience in functional and non-functional testing; 

• Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools and processes; 

• Experience in analyzing project documentation to ensure a thorough understanding of business and technical requirements; 

• Solid knowledge of manual testing theory; 

• Background in computer science, engineering, or another related field; 

• Participation in end-to-end software development lifecycle; 

• Design the relevant test cases/checklists which will effectively execute the software under test, applicable to both new and existing product functionality; 

• English: Intermediate or higher (both spoken and written); 

• Strong analytical and logical analysis skills, capable of troubleshooting, problem-solving and root cause analysis. 

Would be a plus: 

• Understanding of HTML, SQL, and related web technologies; 

• Understanding of continuous integration and automation testing tools;

• Interest in IoT technologies; 

• Experience with Jira, Segment, Amplitude, Testpad; 

• Understanding and experience in following Agile practices.
