Premiere Urgence Internationale (PUI) is a non-profit, non-political and non religious humanitarian NGO. Its objective is to bring about a global response to the basic needs of populations suffering from acute humanitarian crisis and to allow them to recover their autonomy and dignity.

Today, PUI is intervening in 23 countries in Africa, Middle East, Caucasus, and Asia to cover the needs of populations affected by conflict, natural disasters or economic crises.

QUALIFICATIONS

Language Skills: Fluent in Ukrainian, Russian, and good level in English (speaking/reading/writing).
Education Degree: Bachelors / Master's degree (specialist's degree) in Doctoring/Health or other related field.
Work experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in Medical field
Knowledge & skills: Good critical thinking; Ability to synthesis a wide scope of information. Solid organizational skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Solid programmatic, financial, and organizational planning skill is highly desirable.
Computer skills: Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office (with focus on Excel and Word).

ACTIVITIES

Provide support to health implementation team:
Participate to the development, monitoring and evaluation of the health activities implemented within the intervention zone.
Ensure that the health activities are implemented in accordance with the annual operational strategy, Ukrainian MOH guidelines and PUI's technical requirements.
Organize and / or implement health needs assessments in collaboration with the team members under technical supervision of Health Coordinator.
Undertake regular field visit and provide recommendation reports.
Undertakes medical, equipment's consumables and trainings need assessments (TNA) of project staff, facilitates training for medical/health staff based on the TNA and other occurring training needs on health-related topics, under supervision of the HealthCo, develops training plans for PUI health staff
Develops and implements Standard Operation Procedures (SOP) relating to health activity implementation in coordination with the Health Coordinator, Field Coordinator and Project Managers.
Provides technical support and supervision to health training sessions conducted by PUI staff to external entities and perform further follow-up of their quality to adjust the content of the next sessions accordingly. Eventually provide directly the training to external entities.
Follow-up on the good implementation of continuum of care strategy (Linkage PHC / SHC level, supportive supervision of FMAPs, medical supplies of PHC facilities, analysis of epidemiological data, etc.)
Ensures follow-up and analysis of epidemiological data (internal and external) , in collaboration with the Health Coordinator and M&E department.
Support Supervision:
Preparation of supportive supervision grid during the field visits.
Drafting Action Plan for supportive supervision activity implementation in coordination with Health Coordinator,
Capacity building of the staffs of the supported health facilities
Ensure reporting and coordination
Contribute to the development of the mission
Propose and develop the health strategy in line with the association's and countries policies and the population's needs within the intervention zone.
Participates in health and other assessments (both internal and external) as per need organized by the external organizations, UN, MOH, etc.
Analyses the aid provided to the different beneficiary groups and targeted population/institutions by different categories and issues technical briefing notes for the rest of the mission team on monthly basis.
Assists the Health Coordinator in program design on epidemiology and medical statistics.
