Junior Graphic designer

Lviv International company Kormotech is looking for Designer to join our team.

As a member of the Design Team, you will have a variety of different tasks and projects that needs a strong understanding of branding and ensuring alignment with overall brand identity.

Requirements:

• Degree in Graphic Design or equivalent
• 1+ year of experience working in-house or agency side on both print and digital design projects.
• Computer skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Proficiency in Mac OSX and Adobe Creative Suite (especially Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop).
• Language skills: Must be able to communicate in English, both verbally and written.
• Portfolio that demonstrates your skills.
• Obsession with details and have excellent visual design skills
• Strong communication skills, ability to explain thought processes present ideas.
• Ability to work independently and as a part of a team
• Multi-task while designing components of various projects
• A strong desire to learn and develop.
• Creative thinking while following brand standards.
• Beneficial to have in-depth technical knowledge of product development as it relates to graphic design (such as printing, web development, etc.).
• Experience in UI/UX design, Photography or Illustration is a plus.

Responsibilities:

• Create impactful designs for labels/packaging with mockups, presentations, print ads, brand & marketing collateral, point of sale, digital media ads, e-commerce sites assets, social media assets, and other related materials.
• Ensure all artworks meet brand positioning and definitions while ensuring the accuracy of all packaging information (spelling, graphics, informational copy, and compliance with established design parameters).
• Integrates images, graphics, text, etc. with a great sense of aesthetics, while executing against the brand and/or product vision and the creative brief.
• Preparing graphic design files for printing according to different print methods
• General understanding of all print processes (offset, flexography, rotogravure)
• Some projects will require you to work with quality department managers, brand managers, and other professionals within the company.
