CRH Ukraine is the leader on the cement market and one of the leaders of the construction industry as a whole, since it has cement and non-cement businesses. In particular, it is composed of three well-known Ukrainian cement plants: Podilskiy Cement JSC (Kamyanets-Podilskiy, Khmelnytskiy region), CEMENT LLC (Odessa), Mykolaivcement PrJSC (Mykolaiv, Lviv region). Non-cement business includes the following companies: Polibeton™ Group, Bilotserkivsky Plant of Reinforced Concrete Structures PrJSC. On the whole, the Company employs about 1,000 people in Ukraine. CRH Ukraine announces search of Head of Sales, who will work in Bila Tserkva precast plant. The Head of Sales will be responsible for working with customers operating in the field of different electric mains starting from power grid lines through trolleybus and tram lines, road and city lightning and entering the field of railway electric lines. The successful candidate will possess a strong balance of strategic thinking, strong commercial skills, negotiations skills, business and financial acumen, influence.

Main Tasks:

  • Possess full knowledge of the concrete poles market, competitors, actual customers and potential customers.
  • Possess full knowledge of the technical features of concrete poles and application in practice of particular products (electric net grids, tram and trolleybus lines, city lightning).
  • Follow on the market upcoming tenders for concrete poles (both VP and SP) in different Oblenergos, examine conditions and prices expected on tenders, participate in tenders on internally agreed conditions.
  • Follow any programs for improvement of tram and trolleybus lines in cities financed by foreign investment banks.
  • Follow the investment and development plans of Ukrzaliznitsa and any tenders they might provide.
  • Provide all necessary CRH commercial reporting.
  • Prepare and implement budgeted and not budgeted price increases, follow (observe) the price policy of our competitor through legal sources.
  • Conduct search of new / potential clients, negotiate and manage effective collaboration with new and existing clients to perform sales targets and increase in sales.
  • Manage treaty process and controls fulfillment of the contract obligations by stakeholder.
  • Act to ensure timely receipt of funds of sold product and control debts receivable.
  • Participate in claims consideration process from clients or partners, and in preparation of response in case of breach of contract's conditions.
  • Compile, analyze and structure competitor Info, monitor sites, provide management with a comparative analysis of strengths / weaknesses between the Company and competitors.
  • Participate in the calculation and preparation of the annual sales budget, make product sales forecast monthly/quarterly, monitor compliance with budget indicators.
  • Check, sign, provide the financial dpt with commercial activities documents.

Candidate profile and requirements:

  • Suitable education in business.
  • Knowledge of the market of electro energy constructions .
  • Knowledge of the structure of Ukrainian Oblenergos.
  • Experience in performing at open tenders platforms like Prozoro, experience in sales.
  • High level qualifications for commercial negotiations .
  • Strong communication and presentation skills (both oral and written).
  • Experience in management of subordinates.
  • Expected knowledge of English.
