We're looking for a technical support engineer to join our Kyiv team. The main task is to ensure the smooth operation of applications and processing requests that come from the L1 team on the client-side through the ticket system.

 

 

Responsibilities

 

  • Processing requests from the L1 team on the client-side through the ticket system, email, and IM
  • Work in shifts, 12 hours each (three-day shifts - three days off)

 

 

Must have

 

  • Understanding of TCP/IP networks and web application architecture
  • Experience with Jira/Zoho ticket systems or the like
  • Basic experience in configuring and administering cloud services (Amazon AWS: VPC, EC2, LB, RDS, S3)
  • Basic experience in administering database servers (PostgreSQL)
  • Basic experience in administering/using Zabbix/Grafana or similar monitoring systems
  • Ability to deal with technical problems on the side of servers/databases/services, etc.
  • Competent correspondence in English
  • Ready to work in shifts, 12 hours each

 

 

Would be a plus

 

  • Experience in administering server systems (Linux, Windows)
  • Experience working with a hosting provider or technical support service for English-speaking customers will be a huge plus
  • Broad outlook in the IT field
  • Sociability, ability to work in a team and learn quickly
