Senior Ruby Developer, Online Grading Software

The project is an analytical platform in the education field that allows for processing a large amount of incoming data, such as examination papers. The application is designed to minimize human intervention in the verification process, as well as to eliminate the possibility of a reviewer error. The company is headquartered in Toronto.

DataArt's specialists will support the existing project and develop new modules.

Main technologies used: Ruby 2.6, Ruby on Rails: 5.2.x, PostgreSQL, Ember.js v3.9.

Required Skills and Experience

• 3+ years of Ruby development experience
• Knowledge of Rails 4\5
• Experience deploying Rails applications
• Experience working with relational databases
• Experience working with RSpec
• Experience working with modern JavaScript frameworks -  Ember.js, React.js, Angular.js, Vue.js
• Experience of integration with 3rd party systems and services
• Spoken English

Additional Competences

• Experience designing and using REST API
• Experience with PostgreSQL
• Experience working with AWS
• Knowledge of HTML5, CSS3
