EGIS is looking for the Project Assistant to fill in the role in professionally growing within the EU-funded projects, aimed to modernize institutional settings and improve transport policy of Ukraine. The ideal candidate has a keen interest in working for the consulting, specialized in transport and infrastructure developments. Furthermore, the candidate should have either a goal or passion for contributing into the institutional projects within the EU support to Ukraine.
Responsibilities:
- Provide the Team Leader and experts with any administrative and logistics support for a successful implementation of their activities and missions;
- Coordinate the preparation of project meetings, workshops, missions (in Ukraine or abroad);
- Coordinate the project activities or missions with the local representatives on behalf of the experts;
- Collect, store and disseminate the project information among the team of experts, and if needed among the regional and governmental stakeholders;
- Ensure a thorough and regular collection of financial and administrative documents (invoices, timesheets, other supporting documents);
- Support the Project Manager in his daily duties to ensure a proper implementation of the project.
Required profile Training:
- Administrative / financial management / accounting background
Professional experience:
- At least 2 years on a similar position.
Knowledge and skills:
- Organizational and coordination skills;
- Excellent communication and writing skills;
- Familiarity with contracts and other projects' documentation;
- Self-motivation, attention to details, proactivity, ability to work in a team;
- Interest in transport policy of Ukraine would be an advantage.
Languages:
- English is compulsory.
Other:
- Excel is required.
