Backend Engineer (Python)

We are currently looking for Backend Engineer (Python)

The necessary skills and qualifications:

• 1+ years of experience with Python

• Knowledge of at least one popular open-source Python framework (Django, Masonite, Flask, etc.);

• Experience with:

• SQL and database management systems (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, etc.)

• Python test frameworks (PyTest, PyUnit, Behave, etc.)

• Linux (both as a developer, and a desktop user)

• Docker, Vagrant, or both

• Support tools and technologies: Nginx, HTTP protocols, etc.

• Understanding of API design principles

• Ability to apply engineering thinking to design solutions from scratch

• Decent communication skills (ability to explain your ideas to others)

• Ability to follow coding standards and best programming practices

• At least an Intermediate English level

Will be a plus:

• Experience with developing applications on PHP (Laravel, Symfony, Yii, etc.)

• Experience with Arduino, Raspberry Pi

• Familiarity with cloud services (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, etc.)

• Familiarity with IoT protocols (MQTT, AMQP, XMPP, etc.)

• Experience with git and deployment tools

• Familiarity with the APIs of common social media (Facebook, Pinterest, Instagram, etc.) and payment systems (PayPal, Stripe, etc.)

• Understanding of Open Source principles, and a desire to be a part of the open-source community

• Leadership skills.
