The ICRC Delegation in Donetsk seeks to fill the following position: 

Housekeeper (2 positions available)

Donetsk based 

AIM OF THE POSITION 

Ensuring cleaning/housekeeping/laundry services for the ICRC premises.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provides cleaning / housekeeping / laundry services for all ICRC premises.
• Takes care of belongings and personal items in the residences.
• Communicates with the people living in the residences. 
• Informs supervisor about any issues regarding the premises (materials needed to carry out duties, malfunctioning equipment, damaged furniture or premises, etc.).
• Follows cleaning detergents consumption (both office and residences).
• Follows cleaning frequency lists of ICRC premises.
• Supports maintenance, logistics and other colleagues in a variety of manual tasks when assigned to the office. 
• Prepares coffee and tea when assigned to the office. 

The tasks and responsibilities defined above are not exhaustive and can evolve depending on organizational needs. 

POSITION REQUIREMENTS 

Education and professional qualifications 

• Primary school education
• Similar work experiences desirable
• Knowledge of basic hygiene principles 
• Basic knowledge of English is an asset
