LOGISTICIAN

Mariupol based

AIM OF THE POSITION

• Logistician provides technical and operational support in areas of purchasing, warehousing, stock management, import-export activities and statistics, in accordance with the ICRC's logistics standards and local legislation

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

• Supply-chain management and planning (manages and follows up on requests, provides customer desk service and carries out related reporting)
• Participation in purchase planning (purchase orders, request orders, supplier files, etc.)
• Implementation and follow up for logistics, financial and administrative procedures
• Managing team of Car dispatcher, Storekeepers, Purchasers and Customer service desk officer.
• Supports collaboration within Log Department
• Develops and maintains working relationships with suppliers and other contacts relevant to work. Participates in contracts negotiations.
• Trains ICRC staff in logistics procedures

REQUIREMENTS

Education and professional qualifications

• University degree or equivalent
• Good command (spoken and written) of English
• Computer proficiency
• Three years' professional experience, preferably in commercial or humanitarian logistics
