Operations manager

Position Overview

Based at our Puratos site in Ukraine, Odesa, in order to further strengthen our Operations team.

Reporting directly to the Site General Manager, the successful candidate for this key function will be responsible for managing the operations activities for our state of the art facility in terms of manufacturing, supply chain and logistics for the three production lines.

Key Accountabilities:

• Participates in the development of new and improved existing technological processes and production regimes in order to maximize the use of technical capabilities of the equipment.
• Introduces advanced methods and techniques of work, combining occupations.
• Promotes the dissemination of best practices in the development of creative initiative, the implementation of personal production plans, the introduction of innovative proposals and inventions.
• Facilitates the development of employees in the sense of high responsibility for the performance of production tasks. Conducts educational work in the team.
• Represents the interests of the enterprise in third-party organizations on issues related to the production activity of the enterprise on issues falling within the competence of the Operations Manager.

Profile:

• Bachelor's degree (Masters preferred) in a technological or technical discipline
• 5+ years of leadership experience in a manufacturing environment, developing processes, documentation, and tools for delivering large scale operations
• Experience leading leaders, providing coaching, developing talent, and building a high-performance team
• The order of systematization and keeping of documentation, methods of processing and storage.
• Very good knowledge of rules and norms of labor protection, safety, and fire protection.
• Very good knowledge of LEAN manufacturing methodologies
• Knowledgeable in production activities results analysis and execution of primary documents on the record of working time, production, wages and downtime.
• Culture awareness and experience of diversity, business etiquette, skills of doing business (including telephone) negotiations
• Business fluent English
