Python Software Engineer (AI product)

Job Summary

Our new product's development team is composed of data scientists and software engineers, product designer, marketing professional and a variety of other handymen. And now we are looking for a passionate engineer who is eager to build upon a great product.

We are currently searching for a Python Engineer who will closely cooperate with data scientist team. The main technical challenge is to deploy an ML infrastructure made up from a couple of services and set up the data pipelines. Also, there is a chance to join the back-end development of a brand-new web application.

What you will do:

• Take part in a product's solution architecture
• Work in a sprint-based agile development team
• Use best development practices, design patterns and share your knowledge
• Optimize application for maximum speed and scalability
• Create scalable ETL-systems
• Support data science team with deployment and integration of ML algorithms

It is really important for you to have:

• Proven experience as a Python software engineer (3+ years)
• PostgreSQL or other SQL based databases
• Computer science background

As a plus:

• Experience in architecting scalable web and ETL systems
• Experience in web services / API
• Cloud computing (Google Cloud / AWS / Azure)
• Docker / orchestration
• Redis, RabbitMQ, Elasticsearch
• Knowledge of JavaScript and React / Redux
• Jenkins / CI / CD
• Basics of machine learning and data science
